Our Capabilities

GSC Steel Stamping operates in Lake City, Georgia occupying 200,000 sq. ft. GSC specializes in the automotive parts supply business with Tier 1 supply relationships with some of North America's leading automotive OEM's.

GSC houses a diverse array of over 40 metal stamping presses consisting of line, progressive, transfer, and tandem operations with press sizes up to 1000 tons. Press bed sizes up to 3.70 meters x 2.15 meters and speeds up to 80 SPM.


Metal Stamping

GSC has a 32 workstations with a diverse array of over 40 metal stamping presses consisting of line, progressive, transfer, and tandem operations with press sizes
ranging between 20 and 1000 tons. Our press bed sizes go up to 3.70 meters x 2.15 meters and speeds up to 80 SPM and our mechanical assembly processes include component insertion and staking.

Welded and Sub-Assembly

GSC provides its customers with added value, in a range of industrial applications, through our Welded and Sub-Assembly services. Our experienced technicians working at 26 welding stations have the training and knowledge with robotic MIG, projection, robotic stud, and spot-welding. Our welding services have helped our customers streamline their manufacturing processes. 

Advanced Engineering

Our skilled engineering team and technicians possess a deep understanding of steel stamping techniques. We can provide our OEM customers with additional product development support, supplementing their efforts with our advanced engineering services.   Our LEAN manufacturing process facilitates the development of optimized production methods, resulting in the highest quality parts produced most effectively.

Tooling and Maintenance

Our in-house tool shop is capable of designing and constructing most tooling systems, performing tool maintenance and affecting engineering changes.  Our tool makers are experienced in the construction of modern tools and have many years of experience acquired from top notch tooling shops in North America.

As a result, we maintain stringent quality controls through our Quality Management System that focuses on every aspect of the production process, ensuring the integrity and compliance of every part. At each stage of production, we conduct a series of assessments to guarantee the safety and reliability of each part produced. Conforming to the most exacting manufacturing standards has allowed us to become a trusted supplier to the automotive industry.

Program Management

Program Managers are a part of our Engineering team and coordinate all GSC’s internal resources to ensure successful program launches and efficient ongoing production.  Our Program Managers are liaisons to our customers and maintain “ownership” for the success of each program throughout its life.     We understand that every automotive program is unique, that’s why we offer tailored solutions that meet your specific requirements.   Our Program Managers are problem solvers, communicators, and facilitators.  They are responsible for Process Development, Gray and Black Box Testing, APQP, PPAP and Sample Warrants.
